### What is KOR Protocol?

KOR Protocol, backed by Animoca Brands, is entertainment IP infrastructure  a decentralized open framework that allows creators, rights-holders, and developers to register, protect, license, and monetise intellectual property on-chain.

Creators like Black Mirror and deadmau5 are already using KOR to manage and distribute their IP through an ecosystem of AI tools and applications. The protocol is designed to build the largest onchain IP economies — not by replacing the entertainment industry, but by giving it a financial and intelligence layer it has never had.

KOR Foundation was established as steward of the protocol, with a mission to revolutionize how digital content and IP are created, managed, and monetized — at the intersection of advanced AI and blockchain infrastructure.

### The Problem

Traditional IP systems were built for labels, studios, and publishers — not individual creators. The result is an industry where:

* IP management is fragmented across disconnected systems, each extracting fees
* Licensing is manual, slow, and prone to disputes
* Royalty payments are opaque, delayed, and often wrong
* AI makes unauthorized replication easier than ever, with no recourse
* Creators have limited tools to monetise across interactive formats, games, and global audiences

In a post-AI world, these problems compound. Content can be replicated, remixed, and used to train models without attribution or payment. The creator who built the work is the last to know and the last to get paid.

### How KOR Works

KOR Protocol is structured across three engines that together form the complete IP stack.

#### Registration Engine

The foundation. Every piece of IP registered on KOR receives a unique on-chain identity — fingerprinted using the ISCC standard, minted as an ERC-721 asset, and wrapped in a KOR ERC-6551 Token Bound Account. This means the IP itself can hold licenses, receive payments, and interact with other contracts autonomously. Rights management, attribution, and licensing terms are attached directly to the asset — not stored in a spreadsheet somewhere.

#### Intelligence Engine

KOR's intelligence layer turns registered IP into a living, queryable knowledge asset. Analytics, automation, and AI agent integrations allow creators and platforms to understand how their IP is performing, where it is being used, and how to make decisions about it. On-chain IP can be injected directly into AI agent contexts as structured, attributed intelligence — enabling agents to draw from verified creative catalogues in real time, with provenance intact. This is the difference between an agent hallucinating content and an agent licensed to use it.

#### Monetisation Engine

Every registration unlocks a programmable revenue layer. Royalty tokens are issued at registration, representing a stakeholder's ongoing claim to earnings from that IP. When a license is purchased or content is used, revenue is distributed automatically — split between collaborators, routed to rights-holders, settled in $KOR — without manual claims, invoices, or delays. Agentic payments, quest rewards, staking, and $KOR flows are all built in.

### The Protocol in Practice

A music producer registers their catalogue. Each track receives a KOR ID, a content fingerprint, and attached licensing terms -> commercial, remix, AI training — each priced and enforceable on-chain. An AI company queries the registry, licenses a set of tracks for training data, and the payment routes automatically to the producer's wallet. A game studio licenses a visual IP through the same rails and receives instant clearance. A fan earns rewards for engaging with that IP through community mechanics. Every interaction is recorded, every payment is traceable, every right is enforced — without a single intermediary.

### The Developer Layer
